The matchup between the LSU Tigers and Auburn Tigers has always been a close one. The two programs haven’t met since 2023, and it’s LSU’s first trip Auburn since 2022, when LSU overcame a 17-0 first-half deficit to win 21-17. In fact, eight of the last ten games between these two at Jordan-Hare Stadium have been one-score games, including Cade York’s walk off winner on the Plains.
LSU can’t get cute on the road. TreyDez Green is expected to be back in the lineup, so use him. You obviously don’t want to rush him back into it, but I feel like a solid 25 snaps just to get him used to the game motion again is important heading into the bye with Alabama on the other side.
Get out of Alabama with minimal injuries so that you can go into the bye week with minor treatments during the off week and your key pieces can prepare for the brutal run that November presents with Alabama, Texas, and Tennessee.
