Let’s start with the obvious: There’s something special about UVA alumni. You can see it in our orange and blue pride, hear it when someone yells “Wahoowa!” from across an airport, and feel it at Reunions. This isn’t just an affinity—it’s a family.
The Alumni Association’s mission is to serve as the heartbeat of the alumni experience, igniting engagement that will last a lifetime. Our work supports more than 285,000 alumni worldwide and spans countless programs, services and signature events.
Sustaining this remarkable community takes continuous collective investment. Last year alone, 1,300 alumni stepped up to volunteer through Alumni Association programs, nearly 4,500 alumni attended a class-year reunion, and more than 5,000 students benefited from alumni generosity through our events.
Thank you for believing in the Alumni Association. Your commitment inspires us, allows us to flourish, and propels us into an exciting new chapter marked by the opening of Aggarwal Hall in spring 2027. Until then, we remain as committed as ever to building belonging for Hoos everywhere.
